Apple devices offer amazing speech to text transcription in developer betas, shows test

Most current apps are powered by OpenAIs Whisper model. But iOS 26 and Apples other developer betas include the companys own transcription frameworks. Test suggests that they match Whispers accuracy while running at more than twice the speed more.
