Nintendo designed a Playdate-like crank for the Switch 2

Nintendo has filed a patent for a Playdate-style crank accessory for the Switch 2. The accessory would add tracking rotational movement to the Joy-Con 2 controller. It could be used for games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
