Google is bringing Beam, its 3D video conferencing tech, to deployed service members

Google is bringing its 3D video communication tech to USO service centers in 2026. Beam uses 3D imaging, spatial audio and adaptive lighting to make video chats more immersive. Beam is primarily intended for enterprise clients, but it's interesting to see Google exploring other applications.
