US officials want to ban your Wi-Fi router for national security reasons

The Department of Commerce has reportedly proposed a ban on the sales of TP-Link routers in the US. The proposal is reportedly backed by several federal agencies, including the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, and Defense.
