Rubin Observatory Captures Distant Nebulae From Chilean Mountaintop

The Rubin Observatory has unveiled its first public images of the Lagoon and Trifid Nebulae located 4,000 light-years away. The images mark the beginning of a decade-long sky survey that will capture thousands of nightly exposures.
