OpenAI Buys iPhone Designer Jony Ive's AI

OpenAI is acquiring Jony Ive's startup, io Products, for 6.5 billion. Ive was the chief designer behind early iPhone models. He has now been appointed as creative head of the firm to shape AI-focused devices.
