One UI 8 will let any app show a Live Notification in Samsung’s Now Bar

Samsung's upcoming One UI 8 update will add support for Live Updates. Live Updates are similar to Live Notifications but can be used by any app. The feature is currently available in the beta but is expected to be enabled for everyone in the final stable release.
