Meta will warn WhatsApp and Messenger users against scams

Meta is launching new tools aimed at trying to protect Messenger and WhatsApp users from potential scams. Company says its teams have "detected and disrupted" nearly 8 million accounts associated with scam centers in Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, the United Arab Emirates and the Philippines.
