Devil May Cry was renewed by Netflix for Season 2 just a week after its premiere. Producer and showrunner Adi Shankar already has some thoughts on where the show is going. Shankar confirmed the inclusion of gunsmith Nell Goldstein from the first Devil May Cry novel.
