AMD just launched its 96-core Ryzen Threadripper Pro

Threadripper Pro 9995WX claims 2.2x lead in rendering workloads compared to Intels fastest Xeon W chip. Chips continue to use the sTR5 socket and are supported on existing WR90 and TRX50 platforms.
